Good morning! Today I'm showing an altered box. It was made a few weeks ago, but I've not been able to take decent photos of it until now. As soon as I saw this Graphic 45's collection I knew I was going to alter something with them, and went to the dollar store to get a plain wooden box...and here's the result! Hope you like it, and thanks for looking!!
First I painted the box with two colors of acrylic paint and distressed it with the candle technique. Then I made the shelf and the table with 2mm cardboard, and covered everything with papers from the collection (Olde Curiosity Shoppe, from Graphic45). Afterwards, I did lots of fussy cutting and started decorating the box...I used charms, buttons, little glass bottles, brads, wooden embellishments...lots of little things.
